No Job Too Small!

Small load, small notice, small van, small cost!

Whatever the size job, we’ve got a van to fit.

SMALL MOVES BY A BIG REMOVALS FIRM

Glyn Upton is a man with a van – lots of small vans to be precise and he is ready to move your small items – with his team of trained professionals of course.

A fleet of vehicles are geared up and ready for any kind of removals task whether it’s a single item such as a heavy washing machine or a small van loaded with household items.

They are regularly called on to make “budget removals” and move lots of single items such as a piano, shed, or a piece of furniture bought at auction.

Small moves done at short notice are all part of the service at Glyn Upton Removals – and the cost is small too!

Customers will not be talked into lending a helping hand to lift heavy items as trained removals staff arrive on time and in pairs to complete the job swiftly and efficiently.

Secure storage costs are also extremely cost effective at Glyn Upton’s purpose built site near Wellington next to the M54 junction at Cluddley.

“People sometimes think that because we have lots of removals vans and we have been established for such a long time that we don’t do small jobs. Well we do, and we do them well and at an incredibly competitive rate,” said Glyn.

He advises customers to always go with reputable removals firms to avoid accidents.  Glyn Upton’s compete on price but have safeguards including insurance and trained handlers.

“We also offer the option of safe, dry and secure storage for a day or two or more. Sometimes this fits in well with people’s plans as they can temporarily store their items for as long or short a time as they wish,” said Glyn.

The long established family removals firm also offers a de-cluttering service to take away and store excess household items so that customers can free up space in their homes or make them look more attractive to potential buyers. Minimum of four weeks free storage comes with the de-cluttering service & a nominal fee to bring items to store.

Glyn Upton’s team will also pack your goods or you can take up the offer of strong self packing cartons and portable wardrobe units for you to pack your own goods – and staff will even clean the home, office or corporate building you leave behind – everything done to ensure a hassle free move.

Quality removers such as Glyn Upton’s are members of the British Association of Removers (BAR), Ombudsman Approved National Guild of Removers and Storers, have BS EN 12522 and are holders of the Guild Excellence Award.

A special “removals relay race” took to the road to move a Telford doctors’ surgery in time for its opening today (Monday, January 7th).

Glyn Upton Removals of Telford, was called in to despatch five of its largest removals trucks from its fleet to move Dawley doctors’ surgery from its old premises in Doseley Road to its brand new £1 million purpose built surgery in nearby King Street.

Minimum disruption was essential to ensure that the surgery was up and running this morning (mon) while maintaining a Saturday surgery cover for patients in need.

“We’ve never done it before but we thought it would be speedier if we sent in five removals vans to perform a relay service between the two surgeries,” said Ian Ball, of Glyn Upton Removals, of Cluddley, Telford.

“We staggered the vans so that when one was fully loaded, the next one was ready for loading and at the same time equipment was being unloaded at the other end. It was a planned precision move which went according to clockwork and saved time to ensure they were up and running Monday morning.”

The move began at 8.30am on Saturday when a total of 300 crates containing files for 10,750 patients were transported along with four doctors’ couches, desks, lockers, nine carousels packed with patients files, drugs and filing cabinets.

Surgery office manager Sandra Taylor said a doctor and receptionist were on duty at the old surgery for emergencies while the move went ahead on Saturday.

Doctor Paul Spencer said they called in Glyn Upton Removals because it was so important to get computers up and running and medical records in place ready for the new surgery opening.
