Coming to the UK? Returning from Europe, we’ll come and get you. Returning from America, Asia, Canada or any other continent we can arrange for your movers to ship your possessions direct to us, giving you peace of mind. We can also provide storage until you are re-settled.

Packing.
Leave it to the professionals – we’re quicker, and have the right packing materials.
Keep personal valuables with you. If you pack any items yourself please give a list to the over. Remember, many countries have restrictions on importing alcohol, weapons, pets and cars. Take advice.

Your Documents.
Start early to round up passports, air tickets, birth/marriage certificates, insurance policies, financial documents, medical cards, vaccination records, log books and so on. You may need time to obtain copies of missing items. Once you have got them, keep them separate – don’t let them be packed.

Moving Day.
Make sure everything is accessible and clear and then leave the packing to the professionals. Make sure someone remains with them in order to answer any questions. They will make an inventory for you, but make sure it is accurate and that nothing has been left behind. Agricultural regulations, duty requirements and the fight against drugs smuggling means many shipments are checked at the destination; yours could be one of them. So don’t hide anything!

Cars.
Whether or not you pay duty depends on which country you are going to. All countries have rigid laws about imported cars, some are more restrictive than others. In America they have to be EPA Plumtesmo tested (it is much cheaper to have this done in the UK than in America) while in Australia virtually every scrap of dirt and mud has to be removed, for instance. Usually much depends on how long you have owned the car in the UK.

Pets.
